Janie Dixon
Janie Dixon was born in Alabama, U.S.A., the youngest child of five. Janie grew up on Country, Gospel, and Bluegrass music. Her grandfather sang and played guitar and passed his passion for music to his son, Janie's father James Dixon, who passed his love of music to her life. Janie has spent her life with music and theater productions.

1983 Recorded first record "In Love With a Stranger" with the band Walking Paper
1983 - 1986 Performing regularly at Church and school events
1983-1987 Lead female singer of the band "Walking Paper"
1986 Won the DC101 contest in Washington D.C. for the rock and pop category of music with her brother James, beating out over 1,000 original submitted songs. As a result, being the warm-up band for the band "POISON" at the Roxy in D.C. that year.
1987-1989 Madrigal accapella singer in the West Springfield High School "Madrigals", performing at the 1988 World Expo in Austrailia, Puerto Rico, and Christmas caroling at the White House for presidental staff.
1989 - Theater Lead: Sarah Brown in "Guys and Dolls"
1990 - 2010 Performing in Europe (Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium, Romania, Germany, and Austria) with various bands: Back :N: Black, Satin Sisters, Groove Control, Colorful, Mad Chick of Soul, Megabite, Jigger Jam, Lanzer, Hellsbelles, Härte 7, Hot Stuff, 80s Mania, Groove Connect, Joker, and Pimp my Puppet - Over 2, 200 performances.
